Thomas Nielsen is European Technology Correspondent, covering EU technology policy, digital regulation, and the European tech ecosystem. He studied Law at Copenhagen University and worked as a policy advisor before journalism. Thomas has been instrumental in explaining complex EU regulations like GDPR and the AI Act to global audiences. His work appears in Politico Europe, EurActiv, and The Register. He is based in Brussels.
